Template · Finance

Spend, made legible.

Drop an expense export — date, category, merchant, amount — and this template builds the finance view: total spend, where it goes, who approved it, and how it trends.

01 · The column contract

This template is a column contract.

No file to download, no software to install. Ship a CSV with these columns — exactly or approximately — and the dashboard assembles itself into this layout.

Column roles are detected automatically — money reads as money, dates as dates. One click re-roles anything it guesses wrong.

03 · FAQ

Finance Dashboard template questions.

Does it work with bank statements?
Yes — any date + description + amount export builds the same view. There's also a dedicated bank-statement dashboard page tuned for that exact shape.
Negative values read as outflows and positives as inflows, so refunds and credits net correctly in the totals.
Click it — every chart and KPI recomputes against the selected category or merchant.
No — this is the textbook local-first case. The file is parsed in your browser and never sent anywhere.
Currency shows as a breakdown so mixed files stay honest; for one-currency totals, filter to a currency or convert the column first.
